Hi all,I have a 2012 Sportage 1.7 crdi with trouble code P0237. Trying to solve this and have been pointed to the MAP sensor - got the new part to swop but can't find a diesel manual to show its location in the engine, been looking for a while now with out any progress and would really appreciate any help please. cheers.

The car will lose power all of a sudden and not rev past 2,900rpm. It also stutters between 1,300rpm - 2,000rpm. The lose of power is solved by tuning the car on and off again. However the stutter is always there. Kia have replaced the actuator switch on the engine as it came up as a fault a few weeks ago.

The turbo blew up. Bang, smoke, rattling. Replaced. Then it will limit itself to 3000rpm whenever it wanted to. And no errors on the computer. And now, it looks like if there was a small delay introduced when the turbo activates, to prevent it happening. In any case, getting rid of the car because of nightmare KIA service and behavior.
I currently drive a new model ceed 1.6 crdi 126/8 which i enjoy , the only downside is it is the eco model and has high gearing which makes it feel a bit lethargic. i am so glad the ceed gt has a turbo pushing 200 bhp - BUT WHAT KIA NEED IS A TURBO FITTED TO THE 1.4 SHOVING OUT 140/150 BHP. A RIO GT PERHAPS

Itsellä piti Hyundai i30 1.6CRDi aivan samanlaisen äänen ennenkuin turbo halkesi kokonaan Sama autohan tuo Kia on kuin tuo huihai eikä tuo turbon vaihto mikään kauhea savotta ole muutakuin ekalla kerralla Itsellä meni ekalla kerralla
Great 'post'. Just had same problem on my 2008 ProCeed 1.6 CRDi 113 bhp. Total engine cut-out on dual carriageway . dodgy to say the least ! Waited 3 minutes and restared ok and drove for a few days ok without problem recurring.
